Summer employment

The FJMC will occasionally provide a summer employment opportunity to youth who have an interest in fish and marine mammals. A summer job at the FJMC generally involves some office-based work assisting Joint Secretariat staff in Inuvik, as well opportunities to gain field experience through involvement in research and monitoring programs. The FJMC aims to make employment opportunities as valuable as possible to youth by providing practical training and experience whenever possible. If you are interested in a summer job with the FJMC, contact our staff to see if opportunities are available. Preference will be given to Inuvialuit candidates.
